Can you install the frame in 2 x 6 framing?
Our frame does not currently support 2x6 framing.
What is the maximum weight of door slab that can be used?
You can install a door weighing up to 130 lbs.
Can you install the frames in an exterior application?
Rocket frames are designed for indoor use only.
Do your frames include the soft closer?
Soft close is an accessory that you can purchase separately.
My installation is shorter than 80”. Can your frames be cut down to a shorter height?
To keep the lifetime warranty valid, we recommend using the frame in its standard size.
Can I install 2 SOFT CLOSE so I can have soft close and soft open?
Soft close can only be installed for soft door closing. If you want both soft closing and opening, you need to purchase the Soft close & open function.
My finished floor is not installed. How do I install the frame if the finished floor is not installed?
We recommend placing shims under the frame to simulate the finished floor, ensuring a precise and proper installation.
Do you offer a stainable door jamb kit? I want the trim to match my oak stained door panel?
Yes, we provide a kit of unfinished door frames as an accessory that you can purchase separately and paint in the color of your choice.
Do you sell the door slab?
No, we do not supply door slabs. You can purchase the door panel of your choice. Our frame is compatible with doors measuring 1-3/8“ or 1-3/4”.
What width door slabs will work with your frame?
Our frame is compatible with door panels that are 1-3/8” or 1-3/4” thick.
Is it possible to install the soft closure system, Model # R00200, alongside the self-closure system, Model # R00100, within a single pocket door, or do I need to select one option?
You can install both accessories together to create a door with a soft-close mechanism.
The contractor that installed the pocket door frame lost the hardware to hang the door slab. I cannot find this on your resellers sites. Are these available for me to purchase?

Does your self close and soft close work with pocket doors that are not a Rocket Door frame?
These accessories are designed to work exclusively with Rocket frames, ensuring optimal compatibility and performance.
My kit did not come with the polystyrene spacers. Are these necessary for me to install the drywall onto the frame?
You don't need polystyrene to install drywall. We no longer supply it for environmental sustainability reasons and because our slats are already strong enough.
